Therapy/Mental Health
Non Mainstream Psychotherapy Resources Hardly worth doing a general therapy links page when Nick has such a full list.

Just about every non-analytical link you'll ever need is right here
Here are a few we've found particularly interesting, though.
Support Coalition: Human Rights & Psychiatry Home Page Page for psychiatry survivors and allies. Political, anti-psychiatry, loads of useful links to other sites.
Institute of Psychiatry Library: Mental Health Lots of books, and loads of links. Useful to practitioners, and also some support for users.
MMB Music Inc: Creative Arts Therapy Links 'Does exactly what it says on the packet!' Full of music/creative links. Very good resource.
Psych Central: Dr. John GROHOL's Mental Health Page A nice big wodge of links - fairly user-oriented
Centre for Psychotherapeutic Studies - Professor Robert M. Young Excellent if you're doing research on psychotherapy. Also, we're secret fans of Prof. Young.
Medline Back Door External access to the Medline database. Full of medical-oriented abstracts you usually can't get outside a library.
Mental Health Net A really full site - check out the self-help pages, and the various forums.
Chris Evans' Bookmarks Good bunch of (often academic) links.
Psych Web by Russ Dewey Again, loads of good links.
Sexual Abuse
Recovered Memory Project A (pro-survivor) project researching into recovered memory
PEDOWATCH : Monitoring Pedophilia and Child Pornography on the Internet As it says....
PTSD
Trauma Info Pages, Bookshelf: van der Kolk (1994) Bessel van der Kolk is an expert in PTSD. Lots of info, lots of links.
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Bibliography Very good list of references for therapists working with trauma.

Culture/Transculture
Society for Cross-Cultural Research (SCCR)Another good site for links. We've found this particularly useful in preparing our Race Awareness courses.
Race Language and Counselling Contents of a useful lecture. Strangely, on a bereavement site. The site's other stuff on culture is also interesting, though.
World Health Organization WWW Home Page What can you say? Anyone interested in cultural issues should head here straight away.
ACA Intercultural Communication Collection Vast Web List of Intercultural resources

Computing
Lockergnome Weekly (or even daily) huge compilation of Windows info, shareware etc.
Mata Hari We're just trying this out (shareware). A really good multi-search browser, which seems to work very well.
Getright Very good shareware downloader, http, ftp, new version is brilliant.
IrvanViewReally good - free - graphics viewer, getting better all the time.
HTML/Design
Web Pages that Suck No real need to buy the book, (unless they get greedy and close down the page). Great site on design.
Beyond the Bones of HTML Great stuff.
Net Tips for writers and designers Good web design.
Webmonkey Great site from Hotwired for HTML newbies.
Webnovice And another one.
Composing good HTMLAnd another one.
Fonts
Vance´z Font PageLoads of fonts - all free. Actually, I don't like it as much since he redisgned the page, but he now has links to all the designers. Soon your machine, too, could be groaning under the weight of millions of wierd fonts.
The font ringMore lovely, (and often very strange) fonts.
Browsers/Searching
DogpileAlways our first point of call. Searches on 11 different search engines
Hotbot One of the ones it (sadly) misses out. Good for scientific queries, and really easy to use.
Fun!
IDMB Quotes page Quotes from films
Joseph Wu's Origami Page Guess
XrX Animated Logo Tools You know that Windows logo with the moving blue line at the bottom. Make your own! Also links to several free ones
Zen Stories to Tell Your Neighbors Excellent list of (effectively) modern koans
Windows 98 Annoyances Having just taken the leap, and still (fairly) pleased we did, this site is a godsend
Magic's House Photoshop tutorial Not really up to Photoshop yet, (most graphics on this site PSP4/5). But this (slow) site is almost worth looking at just 'cos it's so beautiful.
