Viv Quillin (see her work in our 'Consultancy' section), is a highly respected
and highly published cartoonist.
She has been a friend for years, and is able to offer us a workshop each Autumn.
Places are limited, with a maximum of 12 attendees, so once these workshops
are fixed, it is important to book quickly.

Viv would be interested in a workshop specifically for women; if you have a
group, or friends, who would like to arrange a women's only weekend, please
feel free to contact us.

Writing is a form of expressing to the world what goes on inside us, and yet
many of us may feel that we don't have the skills to express ourselves well
in the written word.
This workshop, for those who have never written, or for those who want to explore
their relationship with themselves and writing, will cover poetry, short stories,
and right/left brain techniques.

We are very pleased to offer our masks workshop for children.
If you want to leave the kids (5-12 years old) in safe hands for a fortnight
in the holidays, this may be just the thing you're after.
We will help them to make masks, decorate them in a variety of styles, then
create and perform a play based on their own masks, to which grownups friends,
brothers and sisters can be invited.
We will use improvisation and roleplays to develop the mask ideas and the play.
We provide all the materials. Expect fun, growth, and not too much mess!

Art therapy is a fruitful and deep form of therapy, and is also a lot of
fun!
This workshop, open to a limited number of people, will allow you to explore
your creativity with a variety of media, while also allowing you to get in touch
with the inner world which surfaces in art work.
Fast sketching, finger painting, splashing.... almost anything, really, will
be used to help you discover your art, and yourself.

Pottery is a fulfilling, creative art form, and this workshop, limited to 10,
will be run over two weekends, everal weeks apart. This will enable us to produce
work one weekend, and glaze it and fire it in the second, allowing you to take
home the completed works at the end of the course.
We will work with a variety of techniques, and on the evening of the second
weekend will have an outdoor Raku firing of some of the work. An event
not to be missed!
